Here's a couple of crochet projects. I have made these 4 or 5 years ago. The patterns are from the book Stitch 'n Bitch Crochet: Happy Hooker. I did not own th book at the time. My friend borrowed it for me. For both pieces I use finnish brand Novita's 7 veljestä yarn, mainly because I wanted to save money. Yarns can be so expensive!
Tämän hatun virkkasin yhdessä illassa. Kirjan ohjeessa oli vain yksi koko, jota minun piti suurentaa. Se ei ollut ihan hyvä juttu, koska kuvion takia suurennosta oli pakko tehdä kerralla muutama sentti. Siksi se onkin nyt vähän iso.
This hat I made in one night. The pattern was only for one size and I had to widen it. It was not such a good thing because it meant the rim eventually widened a couple of centimeters. That's why it's now a bit too large.
Kukan olisi kai voinut ommella hattuun kiinni, mutta minä hankin jostain tuollaisen 3,5 senttiä halkaisijaltaan olevan napin, joten kukan voi siis irrottaa.
I could have sewn the flower in, but I used that 3,5 cm wide button instead, so the flower is removable.
Tämä huivi on kiva, vaikka lähinnä siitä on vain koristeeksi. Ei tämä kyllä hirveästi pakkasilla lämmitä, jos ei kierrä montaa kertaa kaulan ympäri. Ja jos niin tekee, hienot kukkaset ei näy. =)
This scarf is nice although it's really just for show. It doesn't keep you very warm during winter unless you wrap it around your neck many times. And if you do that, you can't really see the beautiful flowers. =)
